Primary Cutaneous Adenosquamous Carcinoma of Scalp: A Rare Variant

Adenosquamous carcinoma is an aggressive and rare variant of squamous cell that has both glandular differentiation. We present a case occipital scalp adenosquamous in 43-year-old male who presented with mass was initially marble size, which progressively enlarges over years. There were no constitutional symptoms. No neurological deficit locoregional lymph nodes not palpable. Contrast enhanced computerized tomography brain revealed non-enhancing midline intracranial extension or bony involvement. Tissue biopsy the performed, preliminary microscopic immunohistochemistry studies suggested carcinoma. The tumor completely excised wide local excision, followed by skull burring primary closure.
